<![CDATA[ Gamesradar+ ]]> https://www.gamesradar.com Tue, 04 Jun 2024 10:20:02 +0000 en <![CDATA[ Wuthering Waves Echo tier list ]]> This Wuthering Waves Echo tier list will help you find the best Echoes, including Lampylumen Myriad - one of the best in the game. Echoes can be obtained by defeating enemies on Solaris-3, where the most powerful enemies usually drop the best Echoes. At the moment of writing, Wuthering Waves has 52 Echo types, each related to a different enemy species, ranking from rarity 2 to rarity 5. That means there are a total of 208 Echoes in Wuthering Waves.

Five-star Echoes are always the strongest, but it’s hard to figure out which five-star Echoes are the best. Divided by Sonata type (Freezing Frost, Molten Rift, etc.), these Wuthering Waves Echo tier lists reveal the best Echoes in the game.

If you want help elsewhere then knowing how to wish in Wuthering Waves will get you more rewards and the latest Wuthering Waves codes will get you all sort of useful items and resources.

Wuthering Waves Freezing Frost Echoes

Wuthering Waves Lampylumen Myriad

  • S+ tier: Lampylumen Myriad
  • A tier: Roseshroom, Autopuppet Scout
  • B tier: Excarat, Glacio Predator, Tambourinist
  • C tier: Sabyr Boar, Fusion Prism, Glacio Prism, Gulpuff
  • D tier: Hoartoise

The Freezing Frost Echo set improves Glacio damage, especially after using a Basic Attack or Heavy Attack. Besides dealing impressive Glacio damage of its own, the Lampylumen Myriad perfectly fits the Freezing Frost Sonata by offering a Glacio and Resonance Skill damage boost. As if that’s not enough, the Lampylumen Myriad can freeze your opponents, which makes it the best Echo on this tier list.

The Roseshroom and Autopuppet Scout deal pretty good Havoc and Glacio damage respectively, but they don’t offer any utility value or buffs, which places them in A tier rather than S. The Glacio walls summoned by the Autopuppet Scout are more annoying than useful.

Although you’ll find the one-cost Echoes at the lower end of this Wuthering Waves Echo tier list, the Excarat stands out for its handy evasion ability that allows you to move underground - with a cooldown of only two seconds, it’s perfect for a fast DPS character. The Glacio Predator deals better damage than the other one-costs, and the Tambourinist has an excellent Havoc Damage bonus which would’ve made A tier if this wasn’t the ‘Freezing Frost’ Echo set. Don’t use the Hoartoise as it only restores a bit of HP for its wearer; a healer can do the same, and better.

Wuthering Waves Molten Rift Echoes

Wuthering Waves Molten Rift Echoes

  • S+ tier: Inferno Rider
  • A tier: Violet-Feathered Heron
  • B tier: Geohide Saurian, Havoc Dreadmane, Traffic Illuminator, Fusion Warrior
  • C tier: Fusion Prism, Spectro Prism, Snip Snap, Electro Predator, Fusion Dreadmane
  • D tier: Young Geohide Saurian

Molten Rift Echo sets improve Fusion damage, with an increased bonus after triggering a Resonance Skill. Thanks to its Basic Attack and Fusion Damage boost, the Inferno Rider is by far the best Molten Rift Echo. Beware that its long-press ability turning you into a fiery biker is difficult to manoeuvre in battle, but the impressive damage output of the single-press attacks is enough to land this Echo in S+ tier.

The Violet-Feathered Heron deserves special recognition for its parry stance ability; by performing a counterattack during this stance, the Violet-Feathered Heron deals amazing Electro damage and recovers some Concerto Energy. The only downside is that it’s hard to time correctly.

Geohide Saurian and Havoc Dreadmane deal the best damage among the lower-tier Molten Rift Echoes, and the Traffic Illuminator has an immobilization availability that may be used to interrupt attacks. Fusion Warrior has amazing damage potential too, but only if you trigger a successful counterattack. Stay away from the Young Geohide Saurian’s mediocre HP restoration.

Wuthering Waves Void Thunder Echoes

Wuthering Waves Void Thunder Echoes

  • S tier: Thundering Mephis, Tempest Mephis, Fission Junrock
  • A tier: Violet-Feathered Heron, Flautist
  • B tier: Traffic Illuminator, Fusion Warrior
  • C tier: Spectro Prism, Havoc Prism, Vanguard Junrock, Electro Predator, Aero Predator
  • D tier: Young Geohide Saurian

Void Thunder Echoes enhance the wearer’s Electro Damage, with a second boost offered after Heavy Attacks and Resonance Skills. The Thundering Mephis and Tempest Mephis Echoes offer the same Electro damage bonus, but the first adds a Resonance Liberation boost while the second grants better Heavy Attack damage. They both deal a ton of Electro damage to boot, but it’s not quite enough to put them in S+ tier.

In case you're wondering what a one-cost Echo is doing in S tier; the Fission Junrock isn’t suitable for battle, but this little walking rock can loot nearby materials for you. It’ll save you a ton of time when exploring the world!

Like the Violet-Feathered Heron, the Flautist can restore Concerto Energy, which is a huge help if you need to rely on your team’s Intro and Outro Skills. While the Flautist deals better damage and recovers more Energy, the Violet-Feathered Heron can parry an incoming attack. The Traffic Illuminator and Fusion Warrior may be used for their immobilization ability and impressive counterattack damage respectively.

Wuthering Waves Sierra Gale Echoes

Wuthering Waves Sierra Gale Echoes

  • S tier: Feilian Beringal
  • A tier: Cyan-Feathered Heron, Whiff Whaff
  • B tier: Hoochief, Chaserazor, Fusion Warrior, Traffic Illuminator
  • C tier: Sabyr Boar, Hooscamp, Aero Predator
  • D tier: Young Roseshroom, Chirpuff

The Sierra Gale Echo set improves Aero damage, especially after using a successful Intro Skill. Boosting Aero Damage and Heavy Attack Damage for the wearer, Feilian Beringal is the best Sierra Gale Echo.

The three-cost Cyan-Feather Heron is the second-best Echo on this list as it can interrupt special attacks, which is extremely handy during boss fights. Beware that you must recognize an incoming special attack to use this efficiently. The other three-cost Echoes on this tier list, Chaserazor and Hoochief, only deal Aero Damage. It’s nice to have, but nothing special.

While the Fusion Warrior stands out for its damage potential and Traffic Illuminator for its immobilization ability, the one-cost Whiff Whaff surpasses them both; summoning a low-pressure zone, it pulls enemies together, which is an amazing tool to hit as many opponents as possible when casting your best attacks.

Wuthering Waves Celestial Light Echoes

Wuthering Waves Celestial Light Echoes

  • S tier: Mourning Aix
  • A tier: Cyan-Feathered Heron, Rocksteady Guardian
  • B tier: Autopuppet Scout, Glacio Predator, Zig Zag
  • C tier: Gulpuff, Spectro Prism, Havoc Prism, Havoc Warrior
  • D tier: Cruisewing, Hoartoise

The Celestial Light Echo set improves Spectro Damage, especially after triggering an Intro Skill. Although the Mourning Aix doesn’t deal much damage compared to the other four-cost Echoes on this Wuthering Waves Echo tier list, the Spectro and Resonance Liberation damage bonuses make it the best Celestial Light Echo.

The Cyan-Feathered Heron’s ability to interrupt special attacks can be a true lifesaver, but the Rocksteady Guardian is equally impressive when equipped on an HP-based character. Entering the parry state, the Rocksteady Guardian deals follow-up attacks that scale with the wearer’s HP, and can even block special attacks.

The Glacio Predator and Autopuppet Scout deal better damage than the Echoes in the lower tiers, but the Zig Zag finds itself in B tier for its stagnation ability. Although it only lasts for 1.8 seconds, stopping enemies in their tracks grants quite an advantage. The Cruisewing and Hoartoise restore far too little HP to make their abilities worthwhile.

Wuthering Waves Sun-sinking Eclipse Echoes

Wuthering Waves Sun-sinking Eclipse Echoes

  • S+ tier: Dreamless
  • S tier: Crownless, Tambourinist
  • A tier: Havoc Dreadmane, Havoc Warrior
  • B tier: Roseshroom, Excarat, Tick Tack
  • C tier: Glacio Prism, Havoc Prism
  • D tier: Chirpuff, Young Roseshroom

The Sun-Sinking Eclipse Echo set boosts Havoc damage, with extra damage building up after Basic- and Heavy Attacks. Although the Crownless with its Havoc-boosting buffs seems like the best Sun-sinking Eclipse Echo at first glance, Dreamless has far better damage potential. Dreamless deals 50% more damage if it's used after Havoc Rover’s Resonance Liberation, and on top of that, you may cancel its animations. You can’t do that with Crownless unless you’re willing to lose the Havoc buff.

If the Crownless’s animations last too long for your taste, the Tambourinist forms a great alternative. The Havoc damage boost is weaker, but you don’t have to do anything other than cast the Echo Skill. As for the other three-cost Echoes on this tier list, Havoc Dreadmane deals very good damage but the Roseshroom is quite underwhelming. It doesn’t help that this laser-flower remains stationary. Havoc Warrior costs less and performs better.

Excarat and Tick Tack stand out for their utility; the first makes it easy to evade attacks (two-second immunity), while the second reduces enemy Vibration Strength. Beware that it’s only 5%, but it can make a difference in early-game boss fights.

Wuthering Waves Rejuvenating Glow Echoes

Wuthering Waves Rejuvenating Glow Echoes

  • S+ tier: Bell-Borne Geochelone
  • S tier: Rocksteady Guardian, Fission Junrock
  • A tier: Stonewall Bracer, Chasm Guardian, Hoochief, Whiff Whaff
  • B tier: Tick Tack
  • C tier: Snip Snap, Fusion Dreadmane, Vanguard Junrock
  • D tier: Cruisewing

Rejuvenating Glow is a support Echo set; it improves the wearer’s healing and grants a teamwide attack bonus. Offering a damage reduction and damage boost for the entire team, the Bell-Borne Geochelone is the perfect Echo to go with this set. But that’s not all; the Bell-Borne Geochelone also deals Glacio damage scaling with the wearer’s Defense - find the right teammate to wear it, and it’s absolutely worthy of the S+ tier on this Wuthering Waves Echo tier list.

Although the Spectro Rocksteady Guardian was put in A tier, the Rejuvenating Glow version of this Echo is far more likely to become part of a full Echo set that suits its wearer (as healing characters often scale with HP). The other three-cost Echoes, Stonewall Bracer, Chasm Guardian, and Hoochief, deal decent damage but don’t offer any utility except Stonewall Bracer, who creates a small shield for its wearer.

Rejuvenating Glow contains far more support Echoes than any other set. The Fission Junrock is useless in combat but gathers nearby materials while exploring, the Whiff Whaff has a crowd control ability that groups enemies, and the Tick Tack depletes some Vibration Strength, all of which are useful in early game.

Wuthering Waves Moonlit Clouds Echoes

Wuthering Waves Moonlit Clouds Echoes

  • S+ tier: Bell-Borne Geochelone
  • S tier: Impermanence Heron, Fission Junrock
  • A tier: Stonewall Bracer, Diamondclaw, Zig Zag, Whiff Whaff
  • B tier: Chaserazor, Spearback, Geohide Saurian
  • C tier: Sabyr Boar, Glacio Prism
  • D tier: Cruisewing

The Moonlit Clouds Echo set improves Energy Regeneration and the Attack of the next Resonator after using an Outro Skill. Like the Rejuvenating Glow set, the Bell-Borne Geochelone is the perfect Echo to complement the support effects, especially if you find a Defense-scaling character to wear it. The Impermanence Heron is a close second though, as this Echo regains Resonance Energy with its initial attack. Impermanence Heron also offers a damage bonus to the next character who takes the field, but beware that this only works if the wearer uses an Outro Skill within 15 seconds, so it’s a bit hard to time this correctly.

Fission Junrock receives a high placement on this Wuthering Waves Echo tier list for its material collection ability. Zig Zag and Whiff Whaff deserve credit for their crowd-control abilities (stagnation and grouping) while Diamondclaw can parry and counterattack. The Stonewall Bracer deals good damage and comes with a shield ability.

As for the remaining Echoes on this Wuthering Waves Echo tier list, those in B tier are quite strong - although they don’t offer any support skills.

Wuthering Waves Lingering Tunes Echoes

Wuthering Waves Lingering Tunes Echoes

  • S+ tier: Mech Abomination
  • S tier: Flautist
  • A tier: Chasm Guardian, Spearback, Zig Zag
  • B tier: Hooscamp, Tick Tack
  • C tier: Vanguard Junrock, Snip Snap, Diamondclaw, Fusion Prism
  • D tier: Young Geohide Saurian

The Lingering Tunes Echo set improves Attack and Outro Skill damage. Attack is further boosted if the wearer stays on the field for a while. The Mech Abomination is the best Echo to go with this set, as it deals massive Electro damage and offers an Attack boost for its wearer. The Flautist is a great second option though, dealing amazing damage and regenerating Concerto Energy as a bonus.

Chasm Guardian and Spearback are the best damage-dealing options on this Wuthering Waves Echo tier list, but they don’t offer support. Zig Zag can briefly stagnate enemies, which is useful to most DPS characters, and Hooscamp is another damage option while Tick Tack can help you deplete Vibration Strength.

And that’s it; have fun matching the best Echoes to your Wuthering Waves characters!

<![CDATA[ Wuthering Waves Verina build guide ]]> The best Verina build in Wuthering Waves will keep your team alive. The 5-star Rectifier user of the Spectro Attribute heals allies in about five different ways, regenerates Concerto Energy and, on top of all that, even buffs team damage output. So, she's an incredibly useful character to have.

However, to reach Verina’s full potential it’s important to understand her rotation and find the fastest ways to charge her Resonance Liberation and Photosynthesis Energy. With that in mind, from weapons to Echoes - here’s how to get the best Wuthering Waves Verina build.

If you want more characters, weapons and so one then understanding how to wish in Wuthering Waves in important. It's also worth checking what live Wuthering Waves codes there are for useful in-game resources as well.

Verina’s abilities and rotation

Wuthering Waves Verina abilities and rotation

  • Basic Attack: performs up to five consecutive attacks with vines, dealing Spectro DMG.
  • Resonance Skill: converges an energy field in front to grow foliage, dealing Spectro DMG within the range.
  • Forte Circuit: Verina can hold up to four ‘Photosynthesis Energy’ stacks. She gains one stack for every Resonance Skill, Intro Skill, and fifth Basic Attack on hit (as part of the combo). When casting a Heavy Attack, Verina consumes one stack of Photosynthesis Energy to recover Concerto Energy and restore HP for all party members nearby. This ‘Heavy Attack: Starflower Blooms’ deals Spectro DMG, considered as Heavy Attack damage. When casting a Mid-air Attack, Verina consumes one stack of Photosynthesis Energy to recover Concerto Energy and restore HP for all party members nearby. This ‘Mid-air Attack: Starflower Blooms’ deals Spectro DMG, considered as Basic Attack damage. Verina can cast a Mid-air Attack: Starflower Blooms by using the Basic Attack after casting Heavy Attack: Starflower Blooms.
  • Resonance Liberation: deals Spectro DMG while restoring HP to all team members nearby. A ‘Photosynthesis Mark’ is applied to the target on hit. Whenever a nearby ally performs an attack on a target with a Photosynthesis Mark, Verina performs a Coordinated Attack, dealing Spectro DMG while restoring HP to the active character dealing damage, triggered once per second.
  • Intro Skill: Verina attacks the target, dealing Spectro DMG.
  • Outro Skill: Verina heals the next character (or other characters on a nearby team that activates an Outro Skill) by 19% of her ATK per second for 6 seconds. All Characters on nearby teams gain 15% All-Type DMG Deepen for 30 seconds.

The list above explains all of Verina’s abilities in Wuthering Waves. Her Resonance Skill, Intro Skill, and Resonance Liberation Damage are nothing special, but that’s okay because Verina’s combat role is that of a specialized healer. She can heal the team in the following ways: by triggering her Resonance Liberation, by having a teammate attack an enemy with a Photosynthesis Mark, by using a Heavy Attack or Mid-Air Attack (provided she has Photosynthesis Energy), and by using her Outro Skill.

Simply triggering Resonance Liberation is the easiest way to heal your team, but when working on your Verina build, keep in mind that she needs high Energy Regeneration to cast it consistently. If one of Verina’s teammates hasn’t fully recovered their HP yet, you can swap to this character and make them attack the enemy with a Photosynthesis Mark.

Besides healing, Verina is blessed with a strong buff support ability: whenever she leaves the field with Concerto Energy full, all allies gain a 15% damage boost for 30 seconds, regardless of their attributes. Luckily, the Starflower Blooms (Forte Circuit) ability restores Concerto Energy, making it much easier for Verina to trigger the Outro Skill upon leaving the field. The other way around, despite Verina’s lack of a strong Intro Skill, letting her take the field when Concerto Energy is full results in a free stack of Photosynthesis Energy, which translates to one free use of Starflower Blooms.

Besides the Intro Skill, Verina’s Resonance Skill and Basic Attack combo also gather Photosynthesis Energy. However, Verina is a healer, so you don’t want to use more active field time than absolutely necessary - using only her Resonance Skill for additional Photosynthesis Energy is therefore strongly recommended. Besides being a fast way to charge Starflower Bloom, the Resonance Skill knocks down normal enemies.

To sum up Verina’s rotation: if the team requires healing or an Attack buff refresh, swap to Verina (ideally triggering her Intro Skill). Trigger Verina’s Resonance Skill. Use a Heavy Attack. If the team is sufficiently healed and Concerto Energy is full, swap to a DPS. If not, use a Basic Attack following the Heavy Attack (triggering a Mid-Air Starflower Blooms) and/or the Resonance Liberation, then swap.

Verina’s Resonance Chain and upgrade priority

Insert quote here

Wuthering Waves Verina Resonance Chain and upgrade priority

  • Moment of Emergence: Outro Skill Blossom grants the next character a continuous Healing effect, recovering HP equal to 20% of Verina's ATK every five seconds for 30 seconds.
  • Sprouting Reflections: the Resonance Skill additionally grants one Photosynthetic Energy and 10 Concerto Energy.
  • The Choice to Flourish: Healing from the Photosynthesis Mark is increased by 12%.
  • Blossoming Embrace: Heavy Attack Starflower Blooms, Mid-Air Attack Starflower Blooms, Resonance Liberation, and the Outro Skill increase the Spectro DMG Bonus of all team members by 15% for 24 seconds.
  • Miraculous Blooms: When Verina heals a team member with HP less than 50%, her Healing is increased by 20%.
  • Joyous Harvest: Heavy Attack Starflower Blooms and Mid-Air Attack Starflower Blooms deal 20% more damage. They will trigger a Coordinated Attack once and heal all characters nearby. The DMG of this Coordinated Attack and the Healing are equal to that of the Resonance Liberation's Photosynthesis Mark.

The list above shows Verina’s Resonance Chain passive abilities, which can be unlocked by obtaining Verina duplicates from the Wuthering Waves wish banners. Since Verina is a 5-star character, beware that it takes a large amount of Astrite/Lustrous Tides to unlock all six Resonance Chain abilities.

If you want to upgrade the Resonance Chain levels on your Verina build, Sprouting Reflections is the best upgrade as it grants two Starflower Blooms uses with just one Resonance Skill use, making Verina’s rotation faster. The extra Concerto Energy is incredibly helpful as you need to activate Verina’s Outro Skill fairly often. Blossoming Embrace is an amazing upgrade if you have a Spectro DPS on your Verina team. The remaining Resonance Chains mainly improve Verina’s healing, which is helpful but not required if you have a good build.

Verina’s stat bonuses include Healing Power and Attack. Make sure you upgrade both as Verina’s healing ability scales with her Attack stat. When upgrading the active abilities on your Verina build, prioritize Resonance Liberation and Forte Circuit, followed by her Resonance Skill. The Basic Attack and Intro Skill are not important.

It’s absolutely essential to unlock Verina’s Inherent Skill passives as they grant a 20% Attack bonus for all allies, lasting for 20 seconds, whenever you cast Verina’s Starflower Blooms, Resonance Liberation, or Outro Skill. They also revive one fallen ally with a shield equal to 120% of Verina’s Attack, lasting for 10 seconds. Beware that the revival ability has a ten-minute cooldown, so you typically can’t use it more than once during a boss fight.

Best weapon for Verina

Wuthering Waves Best weapon for Verina

  • Best 5-star weapon: Cosmic Ripples. Increases Attack by 11.9-54% and Energy Regeneration by 12.8-25.6%. When hitting a target with Basic Attacks, increases Basic Attack DMG Bonus by 3.2-6.4%, stacking up to five times. This effect lasts for eight seconds and can be triggered once every 0.5 seconds.
  • Best 4-star weapon: Variation. Increases Energy Regeneration by 11.5-51.8%. When the Resonance Skill is released, restores Concerto Energy by 8-16 points. This effect can be triggered once every 20 seconds.

Verina uses Rectifier weapons and the best 5-star weapon for your Verina build is Cosmic Ripples. This increases her Energy Regeneration, allowing her to use the Resonance Liberation more often. The Attack stat is also very useful since Verina’s healing scales with Attack, but unfortunately, the same can’t be said about the Basic Attack bonus as Verina hardly uses her Basic Attacks. Nonetheless, there’s no better 5-star Rectifier in the game at the moment.

The best 4-star weapon for your Verina build is Variation, which offers an incredibly useful Energy Regeneration boost exceeding that of Cosmic Ripples. Although it doesn’t strengthen Verina’s healing, Variation also recovers Concerto Energy, making it far easier to activate the Outro Skill within Verina’s turn.

Best Echoes for Verina

Wuthering Waves Best Echoes for Verina

  • Best Echo set: the full Rejuvenating Glow set. Increases Healing by 10%. Increases the Attack of all party members by 15% upon healing allies, lasting for 15 seconds.
  • Best Echo ability: Bell-Borne Geochelone. Deal Glacio DMG based on 119% of the current character's DEF to nearby enemies, and obtain a Bell-Borne Shield that lasts for 15 seconds. The Bell-Borne Shield provides 50% DMG Reduction and 10% DMG Boost for the current team members, and disappears after the current character is hit three times. The cooldown is 20 seconds.
  • Echo stats: Energy Regeneration Rate, Attack %.

There are two excellent choices here so it's hard to decide on the best Echo set for your Verina build: the full Rejuvenating Glow set or the full Moonlit Clouds set.

Rejuvenating Glow offers a teamwide Attack bonus while Moonlit Clouds provides an Attack bonus only for the DPS who takes the field after Verina. The latter may sound great, but beware that it requires an Outro Skill from Verina, so it’s less reliable. Furthermore, the teamwide Attack boost also improves Verina’s healing since that’s what her healing scales with. Another important difference is that Rejuvenating Glow improves Verina’s healing, while Moonlit Clouds improves her Energy Regeneration. As long as you get Energy Regeneration from Echo (sub) stats, the healing boost is the better option for most Verina builds.

The best main Echo for Verina is the Bell-Borne Geochelone. The Glacio Damage isn’t great (it scales with Defense) but it provides a shield and a Damage Boost for Verina’s allies. Wuthering Waves will likely receive an Echo with a stronger support ability in the future (perhaps something that scales with Attack), but for now, this is the best choice.

The most important stats for Verina are Energy Regeneration and Attack. Energy Regeneration activates Resonance Liberation more quickly, which means less need for other attacks and a faster rotation for Verina. Because Verina’s healing scales with her Attack stat, this is her second priority - mind that a high Attack stat won’t turn Verina into a proper Wuthering Waves DPS, but it makes her added damage quite decent.

Best Verina teams

Wuthering Waves Best Verina teams

  • Best Verina team: Verina, Jiyan, Mortefi.
  • Best Verina free-to-play team: Verina, Spectro Rover, Sanhua.

Verina fits almost any Wuthering Waves team composition, which is great news considering the limited pool of playable characters. Verina’s healing is useful to any ally except those who are healers themselves (like Baizhi), and her damage buffs work for all attributes, so she doesn’t need allies of a specific type. That said, if you unlocked the Blossoming Embrace Chain Resonance, Verina would receive the ability to buff Spectro damage, making her especially strong on a Spectro team with a DPS like Spectro Rover.

Otherwise, just go for a dual DPS or main- and sub-DPS combo with characters who have excellent synergy together, such as Jiyan and Mortefi (brilliant DPS with a sub-DPS who can boost the former’s Heavy Attacks) or Spectro Rover and Sanhua (amazing free DPS with a 4-star Basic Attack Damage support).

<![CDATA[ Where to find Diablo 4 Hanged Man's Hall and fight Andariel ]]> The Diablo 4 Hanged Man's Hall is an important dungeon as it contains Andariel, one of the endgame bosses. Players who wish to prove their prowess in combat will be keen to head there and take on the fight, but it's not the easiest location to find as it doesn't even appear until you've unlocked and started using the highest difficulty level available in Diablo 4. The rewards for defeating this boss can be incredible, but you can't get them if you don't know where to go – so here's how to find Hanged Man's Hall in Diablo 4 to summon and fight Andariel or Tormented Andariel.

Hanged Man's Hall in Diablo 4 can be found within the Kehjistan region, in the Scouring Sands area directly to the east of the Tarsarak waypoint. However, the Hanged Man's Hall location won't appear in-game or on your map until you reach Torment World Tier 4, which in turn requires you to unlock Nightmare World Tier 3 first, so you'll be Level 70+ by the time you reach this stage.

How to summon Andariel in Diablo 4

Once you've unlocked access to Hanged Man's Hall in Diablo 4, you can then fight your way through this boss dungeon to reach the summoning altar for Andariel. Before attempting this, you'll need to ensure you have the correct summoning items in your inventory, which are obtained from other boss fights:

  • Two Sandscorched Shackles (from Lord Zir)
  • Two Pincushioned Dolls (from Beast in Ice)

You can then use those items on the Altar of Anguish at the end of the dungeon, to summon Level 100 Andariel for a tough boss fight – as the materials are spent in this process, you should ideally bring a squad with you to take down the boss together and reduce the risk of coming away with nothing if you're defeated.

Should that not prove enough of a challenge, you can also return to the Altar of Anguish and summon the Level 200 Tormented Andariel instead. For that ritual, you will need six of each item listed above, along with two Stygian Stones that can be earned in the Pit of Artificers.

<![CDATA[ Wuthering Waves Encore build guide ]]> The best Encore build in Wuthering Waves requires much less active field time than you would expect from one of the game’s best DPS characters. This 5-star Rectifier-wielder of the fusion attribute may look innocent, but put her on a quick-swapping team centered around her Resonance Liberation ability, and she’ll obliterate any opponent that comes her way.

From weapons to Echoes, here’s how to get the best Wuthering Waves Encore build. And, if you want to check what Wuthering Waves codes are currently live, I can help you there too. While understanding how to wish in Wuthering Waves will get you more characters and weapons.

Encore’s abilities and rotation

Wuthering Waves Encore’s abilities and rotation

  • Basic Attack: perform up to 4 consecutive attacks, dealing Fusion DMG. Press the Basic Attack button a fifth time to perform a Wooly Strike, which throws a bomb in front of Encore.
  • Resonance Skill: first, performs ‘Flaming Woolies’, which summons the Cloudy and Cosmos puppets to attack with burning rays, dealing Fusion DMG. Cast the Resonance Skill again to perform ‘Energetic Welcome’, an additional attack dealing Fusion DMG.
  • Forte Circuit: Encore can hold up to 100 “Mayhem” stacks, which she gains by hitting targets with the Wooly Strike, Resonance Skill, Intro Skill, and Resonance Liberation. When the Mayhem bar is full, cast a Heavy Attack to consume Mayhem and enter the Mayhem state: incoming damage is reduced by 70% and Encore deals ‘Cloudy Frenzy’ damage when the status ends. If Mayhem is triggered during the Resonance Liberation’s Cosmos Rampage, Encore enters Cosmos Mayhem instead, resulting in 70% incoming damage reduction and a ‘Cosmos Rupture’ attack instead of Cloudy Frenzy.
  • Resonance Liberation: starts ‘Cosmos Rave’. The Basic Attack, Heavy Attack, Dodge Counter, and Resonance Skill are replaced with more powerful attacks (they’re still considered as a Basic Attack, Heavy Attack, Dodge Counter, and Resonance Skill respectively).
  • Intro Skill: pounces at the enemies with Cosmos, dealing Fusion DMG.
  • Outro Skill: generates a Thermal Field centered around the skill’s target, with a radius of three meters. Targets inside the Thermal Field are continuously burned, suffering Fusion DMG equal to 176.76% of Encore's ATK every 1.5 seconds for six seconds.

The list above details all of Encore’s abilities in Wuthering Waves. Don’t fall for the apparent simplicity of her Basic/Heavy/Dodge Attacks, Intro- and Outro Skill, and Resonance Skill, as they don’t deal a lot of damage without the Liberation’s Cosmos Rave state. Furthermore, Encore’s Basic Attack can’t counter during boss fights. Encore’s real value lies in her Resonance Liberation, which greatly enhances all other attacks during a ten-second window.

In other words, Encore should spend as little time as possible on-field when she isn’t using her Resonance Liberation. So how do you charge her Resonance Liberation? By quick-swapping Encore with another DPS: swap her in, use her Resonance Skill, and immediately swap her out again. Amazingly enough, you can cast the Skill, swap Encore out and use another DPS’s attack while the Skill remains active, swap Encore in again, and cast the attack again - the Resonance Skill doesn’t automatically cancel when Encore leaves the field (as the picture above demonstrates, both Encore and Spectro Rover are on the field at the same time). This quick-swapping combo will save you from taking damage during the attack animations too. To counterattack during this sequence, you can rely on Intro Skills and the other DPS’s attacks.

Don’t worry if this sounds too complex; you can also swap Encore in, use her Resonance Skill twice, then swap to another ally. It’s less efficient, but very easy (if timing attacks isn’t your thing, just spam the Resonance Skill button after the first use - this will do the trick).

Just one successful Resonance Skill sequence (both attacks) is enough to fill more than half the Mayhem meter, which means you’ll be able to cast her enhanced Heavy Attack before too long. You don’t need to save this attack for the Resonance Liberation (it can also be charged during Cosmos Rave), but do try to swap out immediately after casting it since it’ll trigger a lengthy attack animation. Swapping characters will prevent incoming damage during the animation.

Once you’ve triggered Encore’s Resonance Liberation, use Basic Attack combos to deal damage. Following a Basic Attack combo, trigger Encore’s Resonance Skill to quickly fill the Mayhem meter; at the end of the Cosmos Rave, use an enhanced Heavy Attack to consume Mayhem and trigger a massive explosion. You can swap out after initiating this attack - again, there’s no need to wait out the animation.

To sum up Encore’s rotation: swap into combat, cast Resonance Skill, swap to another DPS, use attack, swap back to Encore, cast Resonance Skill (repeat until Liberation is ready for use). The Mayhem Heavy Attack is optional. Trigger Resonance Liberation, trigger Resonance Skill, do a Basic Attack combo, trigger Resonance Skill, do another Basic Attack combo, trigger Resonance Skill again, use the enhanced Heavy Attack, swap Encore out, and watch your enemies explode.

Encore’s Resonance Chain and upgrade priority

Wuthering Waves Encore’s Resonance Chain and upgrade priority

  • Wooly’s Fairytale: when the Basic Attack hits a target, Encore's Fusion DMG Bonus is increased by 3%, stacking up to four times for six seconds.
  • Sheep-Counting Lullaby: Encore additionally restores 10 Resonance Energy when casting Basic Attack ‘Woolies Attack’ or Resonance Skill ‘Energetic Welcome’. This can be triggered once every 10 seconds.
  • Fog? The Black Shores!: The DMG multipliers of ‘Cloudy: Frenzy’ and ‘Cosmos: Rupture’ (Heavy Attack during Resonance Liberation) are increased by 40%.
  • Adventure? Let’s Go!: ‘Cosmos: Rupture’ increases the Fusion DMG Bonus of all team members by 20% for 30 seconds.
  • Hero Takes the Stage!: Resonance Skill DMG Bonus is increased by 35%.
  • Woolies Save the World: During Resonance Liberation’s Cosmos: Rave, Encore gains one stack of "Lost Lamb" every time she deals damage, each stack increasing her ATK by 5% for 10 seconds, stacking up to 6 times.

The list above shows Encore’s Resonance Chain passive abilities, which can be unlocked by obtaining Encore duplicates from the Wuthering Waves wish banners. Since Encore is a 5-star character, beware that it takes a very large amount of Astrite/Lustrous Tides to unlock all six Resonance Chain abilities.

Should you wish to upgrade the Resonance Chain levels on your Encore build, note that ‘Wooly’s Fairytale’ is quite strong as it consistently grants a 12% Fusion Damage Bonus during the Resonance Liberation’s Cosmos Rave status. An even better Cosmos Rave damage boost is granted by ‘Woolies Save the World’, which easily stacks up to a 30% Attack bonus. ‘Fog? The Black Shores!’ and ‘Hero Takes the Stage’ offer decent damage bonuses as well, though not quite as good. ‘Sheep-Counting Lullaby’ can be a great help if your Encore build lacks Energy Regeneration, but ‘Adventure? Let’s Go!’ is only useful if you have another Fusion DPS on your Encore team.

Be sure to upgrade Encore’s stat bonuses, which provide extra Fusion Damage as well as Attack Power. Her Inherent Skills (passives) on the Forte Circuit skill tree are important too: they will increase the damage dealt during Cosmos Rave by 10% as long as Encore’s HP is at least 70% (add a good healer to your Encore team) and increase Encore’s Fusion Damage when the normal or Cosmos Rave version of the Resonance Skill are cast.

When upgrading the active abilities for your Encore build, prioritize Resonance Liberation, followed by the Resonance Skill, Forte Circuit, and finally her Basic Attack. Her Intro Skill is nothing special and doesn’t play a role in her rotation, so it’s not important to upgrade.

Best weapon for Encore

Wuthering Waves Encore Best weapons

  • Best 5-star weapon: Stringmaster. Increases Critical Rate by 8-36% and increases the DMG Bonus of all Resonance Attributes by 12-24%. Also increases Attack by 12-24% (stacking two times) whenever the Resonance Skill hits a target. When the equipped character is not on the field, increases their ATK by an additional 12-24%.
  • Best 4-star weapon: Augment. Increase Critical Rate by 4.5-20.5%. When Resonance Liberation is released, increases the caster's ATK by 15-48%, lasting for 15 seconds.

Encore uses Rectifier weapons. The best 5-star weapon for your Encore build is the Stringmaster, as it grants a much-needed Critical Rate boost, increases all the Resonance Damage, works well with Encore’s frequent Resonance Skill usage, and even grants a damage bonus when Encore leaves the field (which you’ll do during the animations).

The 5-star Cosmic Ripples isn’t bad either, and since this is the Rectifier currently on the Permanent Convene Banner, it’s easier to obtain. Cosmic Ripples offers Attack instead of Critical Rate (which means you can’t get a Critical Damage Echo), but it also increases Energy Regeneration, which will help you cast the most important ability more frequently.

The best 4-star weapon for your Encore build is Augment, which offers a 15% Attack boost when Resonance Liberation is activated plus a permanent Critical Rate increase. Since Augment is a Battle Pass weapon, you can also go for Jinzhou Keeper, which offers a smaller Attack and HP boost whenever the Intro Skill is released - as Encore triggers her Intro Skill a lot, the effect is always active.

Best Echoes for Encore

Wuthering Waves Encore Best Echoes

  • Best Echo set: the full Molten Rift set. Increases Fusion Damage by 10%. Also increases Fusion Damage by 30% for 15 seconds after releasing a Resonance Skill.
  • Best Echo ability: Inferno Rider. Transform into Inferno Rider and deal Fusion DMG with three slash attacks. After the final hit, increase the current character’s Fusion DMG by 12% and Basic Attack DMG by 12% for 15 seconds. Long-press the Echo Skill to enter Riding Mode and deal 12% Fusion DMG to enemies in front. Cooldown is 20 seconds.
  • Echo stats: Energy Regeneration Rate, Fusion Damage, Critical Rate, Critical Damage, Attack %.

The best Echo set for your Encore build is Molten Rift, which increases Fusion Damage. Since Encore uses her Resonance Skill a lot, it’ll be easy to activate the additional 30% Fusion Damage too. As the only Echo offering a Fusion Damage bonus as part of its ability, Inferno Rider is by far the best choice to put in the main slot.

Try to get better Energy Regeneration stats on your Encore build; this will help her trigger the Resonance Liberation faster. Without it, you may have to continue the quick-swapping sequence outside of Cosmos Rave for quite some time. Of course, Critical Rate and Critical Damage are important to a DPS like Encore. Most Encore builds should go for Critical Rate as an Echo stat, but if you’re using a fully upgraded Stringmaster or Augment weapon and have excellent Critical Rate substats, focus on Critical Damage instead. Fill the remaining Echo slots with Fusion Damage and Attack.

Best Encore teams

Wuthering Waves Best Encore teams

  • Best Encore team: Encore, Sanhua, and Verina.
  • Best Encore free-to-play team: Encore, Sanhua, Baizhi.

When building the best Encore team, keep in mind that Encore doesn’t need much active field time and switches often, so it’s good to have another ally capable of dealing high damage in a short amount of time. This means you can match Encore with someone like Jiyan, who can use a fast attack combo (and has a nice crowd control ability to boot) and swap back to Encore, but not Calcharo, whose long field time doesn’t work with Encore’s quick-swapping rotation.

As quick-swapping means there’ll be plenty of Intro/Outro Skills, however, it’s best to find a sub-DPS teammate with a supportive Outro Skill, such as Sanhua or Spectro Rover. While Spectro Rover’s ability to slow enemies is certainly handy, Sanhua’s 38% Basic Attack boost is even better as it improves Encore’s most important damage source. Finally, remember that Encore needs an HP of at least 70% to receive a damage bonus, so make sure you’ve got a brilliant healer on the Encore team, such as Verina or Baizhi.

<![CDATA[ All the Fallout 76 Skyline Valley map locations and new stuff we've found ]]> The new Fallout 76 Skyline Valley map expansion adds a whole new area to Appalachia, with the DLC expanding the existing map into new territories. There's Vault 63, a new Lost faction, and a ton of fresh places to explore in the update. It's been live on the public test server for a while now, so I've had a good explore of the new map region and found all the places you can discover.

I've highlighted the Skyline Valley region on the map above, as you can see the expansion nestles in the bottom of the playable area. There doesn't seem to be a level announced for the DLC yet but it's smack in the Savage Divide which is level 15-99. That said, my PTS character is only in the lower 40s level wise and I mainly met equivalently leveled enemies while exploring.

It's worth noting that the Skyline Valley update has only been live on the Test Server in April and May. In that time some areas have been added, some taken away, and quite a lot of things have changed in the testing period. So there could still be a few surprises to uncover.

Fallout 76 Skyline Valley map

Here's the new Fallout 76 Skyline Valley map update in full, with 26 named points of interest and a few unmarked areas added in the DLC expansion. There's a new public event, a new nuke event involving a boss battle with Storm Goliath robots, and a range of new enemies like the Lost - electrified and ghoul-ified members of the new Vault 63. There's also Threshers - giant mutated turkeys, and communist soldiers to deal with. And obviously all the usual Super Mutants, Blood Eagles, Mothman cultists, and so on.

  1. Three Ponds - A small series of pools and water falls.
  2. Hawksbill Weather Station - A large multi-level base currently full of robots. Also the location of the Storm Goliaths accessed via the Neurological Warfare event triggered by dropping a nuke in the Skyline Valley area. You can also access the Vault 63 Meteorology Sector here.
  3. Shenandoah Visitor Center - This building was only made accessible in May. Inside there's a locked door that needs a Visitors Center Key to open. A note in Old Cremora Mines also references a password to the center, and the Mothman cult.
  4. Ranger Station Bunker - Inside you'll find Kevin the Park Ranger and a tunnel to a Shenandoah Visitor Center door you can't open.
  5. Johnson's Acre - This is a Cult of the Mothman base with a lot enemies, but also a lot of loot and resources, as well as various workbenches.
  6. Makeout Point - A scenic area with a few skeletons and notes.
  7. Hemlock Springs Dump - This a toxic area full of radiation barrels and Mirelurks.
  8. Thunder Mountain Substation TM-03 - This is home to the new Dangerous Pastimes event where you have to find parts to get a lightning harvester working, while battling the new Lost enemies and a hermit crab boss.
  9. Dark Hollow Manor - This large house is surrounded by a ravine and filled with Feral Lost Ghouls. In the basement there's a lift behind an intercom and hand scanner that will eventually take you to Hugo Stolz - a Lost Ghoul and overseer of Vault 63. He's involved in a range of new expansion quests.
  10. Research Site Rhineland - There's a lightning harvester here and various Lost enemies.
  11. High Knob Lookout - There's a Blood Eagle outpost here. You can also climb the tower to survey the area and add any nearby undiscovered locations to your map.
  12. Grindstone Arch - This is a Super Mutant outpost where you can also find a Behemoth.
  13. Research Site Saxony - This area is overrun by Super Mutants and there's another lightning harvester here.
  14. Old Cremora Mines - This is a large underground area taken over by the Cult of the Mothman. You can find a note here for a password to use in the Shenandoah Visitor Center.
  15. Naked Creek - There's a small abandoned base area with a cooking station and littered with bodies and remains. There's usually Thrashers here, a new giant mutant turkey enemy.
  16. Big Meadows Gas Well - Currently this is a large mining facility infested with Mole Miners and Radscorpions.
  17. Rapidan Camp - The Presidential retreat. The Presidential bunker could briefly be accessed on the Public Test Server but it appears that area and some related missions have been cut. Currently it's just full of aggressive Mister Handies, with one friendly robot called Gumly inside one of the buildings. There's also a 'Special Agent' assaultron near a Vertibird on a landing pad.
  18. Old Rag Lookout - There's another tower here you can use to survey the area and unlock any nearby undiscovered map markers.
  19. Slumber Mill Motel - This is a Lost filled area that's home to another (currently) cut quest relating to Vault 65 engineering - hence an unusable basement lift, Vault gear and Engineer class Lost.
  20. Trading Post - This is exactly what it say it is, a trading post where you can meet Murry, a Mister Handy vendor. There's also a range of workbenches, vending machines and a stash.
  21. South River Bridge - Unsurprisingly, there's a bridge here but not much else currently.
  22. Stony Man Lookout - There's a survey tower here you can use to unlock surrounding map points, as well as a Super Mutant base.
  23. Camp Liberty - This summer camp has been repurposed as a communist training camp and is full of brainwashed communist troops. There's a lot of well armed enemies here but also plenty of vending machines, workbenches and feels a little like an opposite of Camp McClintock.
  24. Research Site Bavaria - There's another Lightning Harvester here.
  25. Shining Creek Cavern - This is a large underground area, guarded by Lost and full of mutated creatures like Radscorpions. It seems to bleed into parts of Vault 63 but there are a few locked doors that need keys to be able to explore further.
  26. Abandoned Convoy - There's a Super Mutant Base here but otherwise it's exactly what it says it is with derelict cars and debris scattered around.

<![CDATA[ Everything you need to do in Destiny 2 before The Final Shape ]]> Getting all your Destiny 2 The Final Shape prep done will help you get off to great start on your journey through the Pale Heart to face the Witness. However, the end of Year 6 means a whole swathe of seasonal activities and all their loot are going away, so you might have a lot to do in not a lot of time. Don't despair as not everything below will be gone from Destiny 2 forever, but some things will be much more difficult to get or farm for – if at all. With my Destiny 2 The Final Shape prep guide below, I've laid out some things to do and loot to get before the expansion arrives.

Destiny 2 The Final Shape prep guide

Destiny 2 The Final Shape art

The final week before Destiny 2 The Final Shape is upon us. While this expansion will be adding a new campaign, new Dread enemies to fight, and (of course) lots of new weapons and armor, it also marks the end of the line for lots of seasonal activities and gear as they head into the Destiny Content Vault. You have until 5pm UTC on June 3 (9am PST, 12pm EST, 6pm BST, 7pm CEST) as this is when a day-long Destiny 2 maintenance period begins prior to The Final Shape's launch on June 4.

Remember, endgame activities added since Destiny 2 Lightfall, such as Ghosts of the Deep and Crota's End, will not be leaving, along with Onslaught and the reprised Exotic Missions that came with the Into The Light update. The Season of Defiance Avalon and Season of the Wish Starcrossed Exotic missions will also remain. Obviously, you'll also keep any weapons (and patterns), armor, titles, shaders, and other cosmetics and gear that you unlocked during these seasons.

Essential things to do in Destiny 2 before The Final Shape

Here's a quick list of the broad things to do in the next week to prepare for The Final Shape before getting into the specific things to do for each of the Year 6 seasons:

  • Spend all your vendor Engrams: Yes, all of them. Vanguard, Crucible, Gambit, Trials of Osiris, Gunsmith, and all four types of Seasonal Engrams. This will help you get any weapon rolls or patterns that you might be missing. Unspent ones will be deleted.
  • Claim vendor rewards: Make sure you also claim any reputation rank rewards from these vendors too, such as weapons, shaders, and other cosmetics.
  • Save Exotic Engrams and Ciphers: Exotic focusing is changing a lot with The Final Shape, giving you new ways to spend your Exotic Engrams thanks to a revamped vendor reputation system for Master Rahool. Exotic Engrams are stored forever in your personal Engram inventory, and extra Engrams can be "stored" at the Postmaster too.
  • Unlock Season Pass rewards on all characters: Make sure you claim any outstanding rewards from the Season of the Wish Season Pass on all your characters, such as armor ornaments and upgrade materials. Deepsight Harmonizers should be claimed to help you get weapon patterns. Via Bungie.net, you can also claim rewards from Season of the Witch too.
  • Save materials: Make sure you've got Glimmer and various upgrade materials saved up and ready to use, such as Ascendant Shards and Alloys, Upgrade Modules, and Enhancement Cores to keep up with the power grind. Legendary Shards are being deprecated with The Final Shape so spend those while you can too.
  • Unlock Seals and Titles: The Queensguard, Aquanaut, Haruspex, Wishbearer, BRAVE, and Moments of Triumph 2023 Seals will be unobtainable when The Final Shape launches, so don't miss out. Complete the necessary Triumphs for each one to unlock them permanently.
  • Save bounties: Start stocking up on completed Bounties, then turn them in once you start up The Final Shape on or after June 4 to get a head start with XP.
  • Clear vault space: Vault slots are increasing from 600 to 700 with The Final Shape, but you should still give your vault a good clear to ensure you've got plenty of room for any new weapons, armor, and Exotics you want to try as you play.

Things to do in Season of Defiance

Destiny 2 Season of Defiance Titan hold Perpetualis auto rifle in battleground mission

  • Complete seasonal story: As well as assaulting Neomuna in Lightfall, the Shadow Legion has invaded Earth and begun kidnapping citizens. As newly appointed Queensguard of Mara Sov, it's down to you to save the prisoners and crush the legion's operations on home turf.
  • Get Weapon Patterns: There are 10 weapon patterns to unlock from this season, and you can get Deepsight weapons from focusing Defiant Engrams at the War Table and by completing Defiant Battlegrounds. The best weapons I recommend chasing are the Perpetualis Auto Rifle, Royal Executioner Fusion Rifle, and Regnant Heavy Grenade Launcher.
  • Complete Vexcalibur Exotic quest: The quest for the Destiny 2 Vexcalibur Glaive, which involves the Avalon Exotic mission, will be leaving. However, since the mission is staying, Vexcalibur will likely become a completion reward as part of the Exotic mission rotator.
  • Defiant Battlegrounds will be going away with the launch of The Final Shape, so it doesn't look like they will be joining previous Battlegrounds missions in the Vanguard Ops playlist as in previous years.

Things to do in Season of the Deep

Destiny 2 Season of the Deep Gaurdians geared up in the HELM

  • Complete seasonal story: Having survived for the last few years seemingly alone on Titan, Deputy Commander Sloane needs help dredging up artifacts from the deep that will strengthen her newly forged psychic connection to a massive worm creature that holds knowledge of the Witness' origins. All the while, the Hive and Taken forces of Xivu Arath are ravaging Saturn's moon.
  • Get Weapon Patterns: Destiny 2 Season of the Deep has six weapon patterns to unlock, which you can do by playing Salvage and Deep Dives, and by focusing Deep Engrams at the Sonar Station. I recommend prioritizing the Until Its Return Shotgun and Different Times Pulse Rifle.
  • Get Reckoning Weapons: There are also six reprised Reckoning weapons which cannot be crafted, so you'll need good old-fashion random rolls which you can get by playing Deep activities and via Deep Engram focusing at the Sonar Station. The Bug-Out Bag SMG, Outlast Pulse Rifle, and Spare Rations Hand Cannon are worth considering.
  • Complete the Whetstone challenge: The Whetstone challenge will not be making the cut for The Final Shape since it's part of Deep Dives. The Wicked Implement Exotic Scout Rifle reward will probably be made available later through other means.
  • Salvage and Deep Dives will also be removed with the launch of The Final Shape, although it looks like Destiny 2 Fishing is staying.

Things to do in Season of the Witch

Destiny 2 Season of the Witch guardians looking at arcana cards on lectern of divination

  • Complete seasonal story: Savathun is the only being that might know how to reach the Witness, so a bargain is struck with Savathun's Ghost, Immaru: deal with Xivu Arath first, then Savathun will be resurrected to help. With that, Eris Morn ascends as the Hive God of Vengeance with Guardians embracing the Sword Logic of the Hive to enhance Eris's strength.
  • Get Weapon Patterns: There are six weapon patterns available in Season of the Witch and the necessary Deepsight weapons can be obtained from Savathun's Spire runs, Altars of Summoning, Witch Engram focusing at the Ritual Table, and from unlocking certain Minor Arcana Cards. Be sure to get The Eremite Fusion Rifle and Kept Confidence Hand Cannon.
  • Savathun's Spire, Altars of Summoning, the Imbaru Engine, and the Lectern of Divination Arcana Cards will be leaving Destiny 2 once The Final Shape arrives.

Things to do in Season of the Wish

Destiny 2 Season of the Wish warlock armor ornament

  • Complete seasonal story: With Savathun's help, a way into the Traveler is revealed, but another deal must be struck, this time with the spirit of the last Ahamkara, Riven. Recover her lost clutch of eggs and she might grant one last wish.
  • Get Weapon Patterns: There are 10 Season of the Wish weapon patterns to unlock, and you can get Deepsight weapons from focusing Wish Engrams with the Spirit of Riven and by completing runs through Riven's Lair, including in the Coil. The weapons I recommend chasing are the Scatter Signal Fusion Rifle, Supercluster Shotgun, Doomed Petitioner Linear Fusion Rifle, Subjunctive SMG, and the Adhortative Pulse Rifle.
  • Complete Wish-Keeper Exotic quest: As with Vexcalibur, the quest to get the Wish-Keeper bow is getting vaulted, but the mission will remain, so the bow will probably be added as a reward there.
  • Riven's Lair, The Coil, and all the secrets within (such as the Starcats!) will be leaving with The Final Shape's launch.

Things to do in Into The Light

Destiny 2 Into the Light area Hall of Champions with lord shaxx

The Into The Light update for Destiny 2 added lots of new and reprised activities and loot, but some features and items are going away when The Final Shape launches. Onslaught and Legend Onslaught, Whisper of the Worm, Zero Hour, and the BRAVE arsenal are all staying, but here's what's going away:

  • Shiny BRAVE weapon variants: You'll only be able to get the standard, randomly rolled versions of the BRAVE weapons in Onslaught after The Final Shape.
  • Hall of Champions: Lord Shaxx's Hall will be going away which also means BRAVE weapon attunement and Grimoire lore cards will be going too. Trophies of Bravery and Brave Engrams will also be removed so spend them while you can.
  • Superblack Shader: With the Hall of Champions gone, there won't be a way to get this exclusive Shader, although it might could be re-added later.
  • Parade Suit armor sets: With the Hall getting removed from the game, the Parade Suit armor chests will be gone too, though it's likely that all the armor will be added to the Onslaught loot pool instead.

<![CDATA[ Fortnite T-60 Power Armor: How to get it and other Fallout cosmetics ]]> Players have been desperate to get the Fortnite T-60 Power Armor ever since it was revealed in a pre-season teaser for the Fallout crossover, but if you want to add it to your locker then you'll have to put in serious work first. The Power Armor outfit is part of the ongoing Battle Pass for Fortnite Season 3, so you'll need to own that and then progress all the way to Level 54 – which is no small task! If you'd like to collect this or any of the other Fallout cosmetics this season, then here's what you need to know about the T-60 Power Armor in Fortnite.

How to unlock the T-60 Power Armor in Fortnite

To unlock the T-60 Power Armor in Fortnite, you need to have purchased the Battle Pass for Season 3 and then progressed to Level 54. At that point you can exchange some Battle Stars for the Power Armor outfit, once you've unlocked all of the other items available on that page of the Battle Pass.

The T-60 Power Armor is not the only Fallout-themed cosmetic you can unlock through the Battle Pass to add to your locker, so make sure you don't miss any of the following:

  • Level 50
    • T-60 Power Armor loading screen
    • Pip Bling wrap
    • Assaultron Blade pickaxe
  • Level 54
    • Pip-Boy back bling
    • Vault Boy banner icon
    • T-60 Power Armor outfit
  • Level 58
    • Hot Rod T-60 Power Armor loading screen
    • Codsworth's Cleanup emote
    • Vault Boy! emoticon
    • West-Tek Wings glider
  • Level 62
    • Hot Rod style for Pip-Boy back bling
    • Hot Rod style for T-60 Power Armor outfit
  • Bonus Rewards (Level 100+)
    • Black Knight style for T-60 Power Armor outfit
    • Black Knight style for Pip-Boy back bling

Buying Battle Pass levels to unlock the Fortnite T-60 Power Armor

To access these Fallout-flavored rewards you'll need to level up your Battle Pass, and there are two ways to do this quickly. The fastest is to simply buy your way to Level 54 using V-Bucks, but as this process costs 150 V-Bucks per Level I don't recommend it as it can get seriously expensive, even factoring in the once per season discount on a bundle of 25 Levels.

To achieve this without spending a small fortune, you need to complete as many activities in the game as possible that earn XP so you can level up. Working through the Fortnite quests will greatly help with this, and if you take on one of the Fortnite Wastelander Challenges during a match then your XP rate will be boosted, especially if you're complete Fortnite Accolades while the modifier from the challenge is active. Reach Level 54 and the T-60 Power Armor is yours, then push on further and unlock fresh styles to customize it.

<![CDATA[ Wuthering Waves Calcharo build guide ]]> The best Calcharo build in Wuthering Waves turns this mercenary leader into one of the game’s best main DPS characters. He’s a five-star Electro character using a Broadblade, who relies on enhanced attacks, timely dodges, and a lot of active field time. Calcharo has a complex rotation, but his extremely powerful enhanced attacks are worth the investment.

From weapons to Echoes, here’s how to get the best Wuthering Waves Calcharo build. I can also give you a hand on how to wish in Wuthering Waves if you want to expand both your roster of characters and weapons. I've also got a few Wuthering Waves codes to help you get started with some vital items.

Calcharo’s abilities and rotation

Wuthering Waves Calcharo’s abilities and rotation

  • Basic attack: performs up to 4 consecutive attacks, dealing Electro DMG. Use Basic Attack after a successful Dodge to perform a Dodge Counter, dealing Electro DMG.
  • Resonance Skill: Calcharo performs up to 3 consecutive attacks, dealing Electro DMG. If Calcharo is switched off-field, or if this skill is not performed again in a while, it will enter cooldown.
  • Forte Circuit: when the Resonance Skill hits a target, Calcharo gains one stack of Cruelty. When he reaches the maximum of three Cruelty, his Heavy Attack is replaced with Mercy, and he may consume the Cruelty stacks to perform a more powerful Heavy Attack that recovers Resonance Energy and Concerto Energy. Furthermore, when the Resonance Liberation’s Deathblade Gear state is active, Calcharo’s Forte Gauge is replaced with Killing Intent. When Hounds Roar hits a target, Calcharo gains one stack of Killing Intent, and when he has five, his Basic Attack is replaced with Heavy Attack Death Messenger (consumes the five Killing Intent stacks).
  • Resonance Liberation: Calcharo attacks the target, dealing Electro DMG and entering Deathblade Gear state. During Deathblade Gear, Basic Attack is replaced with Hounds Roar (counted as Basic Attack damage) and Dodge Counters deal increased damage (considered Resonance Liberation damage). After the Deathblade Gear state ends, Calcharo's next Intro Skill is replaced with the stronger Necessary Means Intro Skill.
  • Intro Skill: attack the target, dealing Electro DMG.
  • Outro Skill: summons a Phantom to support the on-field Resonator, clearing the targets in front with a slash. The Phantom's attacks deal Electro DMG equal to 195.98%+391.96 of Calcharo's ATK.

The list above details all of Calcharo’s abilities in Wuthering Waves. In his ‘normal’ state, Calcharo’s Basic Attack, Heavy Attack, and Resonance Skill are straightforward Electro melee attacks with a decent forward range. To turn Calcharo into an amazing DPS, however, you must use his special abilities unlocked with Cruelty and Killing Intent stacks.

At the start of a battle, use Calcharo’s Basic Attack combos while hitting targets with his Resonance Skill as quickly as possible. After three Resonance Skill hits, the purple Forte Gauge ‘Cruelty’ above his HP bar (see picture) is full. When that happens, use a Heavy Attack to deal Mercy damage and gain Energy. Beware that you can’t charge Cruelty once you’ve activated the Resonance Liberation.

Is Calcharo’s Resonance Liberation fully charged? Then use it to enter Deathblade Gear. Land as many Basic Attacks as possible (automatically upgraded to Hounds Roar), and always use Basic Attacks after performing a successful Dodge - this will create Dodge Counters. The Hounds Roar attacks will stack Killing Intent and replace a Basic Attack with the Heavy Attack Death Messenger. After eleven seconds, Deathblade Gear will end and you must switch to another character.

To sum up Calcharo’s rotation: hit three targets with the Resonance Skill, then use the Mercy Heavy Attack. Use Basic Attack combos and Dodge Counters to deal damage between the Resonance Skills (a Basic Attack, Resonance Skill, Basic Attack, Resonance Skill sequence works fine). Use Resonance Liberation as soon as it’s fully charged (ideally following the Mercy Heavy Attack), then use the enhanced Basic Attacks and Dodge Counters until the Deathblade Gear state ends. Swap to another character.

Calcharo’s Resonance Chain and upgrade priority

  • Covert Negotiation: When the Resonance Skill hits a target, it additionally recovers 10 Resonance Energy. This can be triggered once every 20 seconds.
  • Zero-Sum Game: After Calcharo casts Intro Skill Wanted Criminal or Intro Skill Necessary Means, his Resonance Skill DMG Bonus is increased by 30% for 15 seconds.
  • Iron Fist Diplomacy: During the Resonance Liberation Deathblade Gear state, Calcharo's Electro DMG Bonus is increased by 25%.
  • Dark Alliance: After casting the Outro Skill Shadowy Raid, Electro DMG Bonus of all team members is increased by 20% for 30s.
  • Unconventional Compact: Intro Skill Wanted Criminal and Intro Skill Necessary Means deal 50% more damage.
  • The Ultimatum: When casting Resonance Liberation’s Death Messenger, Calcharo will summon 2 Phantoms to perform coordinated attacks. Each Phantom deals Electro DMG equal to 100% of Calcharo's ATK, which is considered Resonance Liberation DMG.

The list above shows Rover’s Resonance Chain passive abilities, which can be unlocked by obtaining more Calcharo’s from the Wuthering Waves wish banners. Since Calcharo is a 5-star character, beware that it takes a very large amount of Astrite/Lustrous Tides to unlock all six Resonance Chain abilities (unlike main character Rover, whose Chain Resonance is free).

If you still wish to upgrade Resonance Chains for your Calcharo build, Covert Negotiation is quite handy as it helps Calcharo charge his Resonance Liberation faster. Zero-Sum Game, The Ultimatum, and especially Iron Fist Diplomacy provide very strong damage boosts. However, Dark Alliance and Unconventional Compact aren’t recommended, as the first works best if you have other Electro DPS characters on the team (Calcharo will likely be the only DPS with a lot of active time) and the second only improves his mediocre Intro Skills.

Besides Resonance Chains, be sure to upgrade Calcharo’s stat bonuses, which provide Critical Damage and extra Attack Power, as well as his Inherent Skills (passives) on the Forte Circuit skill tree. This will grant him a damage reduction and a Resonance Liberation damage bonus after using Mercy. Although you should eventually upgrade all of Calcharo’s active abilities, prioritize Forte Circuit and Resonance Liberation as these are his main sources of damage.

Best weapon for Calcharo

Wuthering Waves Best weapon for Calcharo

  • Best 5-star weapon: Verdant Summit. Increases Critical Damage by 10.8-48.6% and increases the damage bonus of all Resonance attributes by 12-24%. Every time Intro Skill or Resonance Liberation is cast, the Heavy Attack damage bonus is increased by 24-48%, stacking up to two times and lasting for 14 seconds.
  • Best 4-star weapon: Helios Cleaver. Increases Attack by 6.7-30.3%. Within 12 seconds after the Resonance Skill is released, increases Attack by 3-6% every two seconds, stacking up to 4 times. When the number of stacks reaches 12, all stacks will be reset within one second.

The best 5-star weapon for your Calcharo build is the Verdant Summit, which offers a high Critical Damage bonus and improves all Resonance damage. As it’s hard to get a Calcharo build with a high Critical Rate and Critical Damage by relying on Echoes alone, the Critical Damage stat is a huge help. This weapon also improves Calcharo’s Heavy Attack damage when swapping into combat or entering Deathblade Gear, but beware that he doesn’t use enough Heavy Attacks to gain a significant damage boost from this ability.

With only two 5-star Broadswords in the game at the moment of writing, the 5-star Lustrous Razor is a good alternative to Verdant Summit. It has ATK% as a secondary stat rather than Critical Damage, but that only surpasses Verdant Summit if your Calcharo build doesn’t have a good Critical Rate yet. Lustrous Razor also provides better Energy Regeneration, making it a good option if you can’t get that from your Echoes.

As for the best 4-star weapon for your Calcharo build, choose the Helios Cleaver. Calcharo uses his Resonance Skill a lot (to stack Cruelty) so it shouldn’t be hard to activate the Attack boost offered by this Broadsword. If you can’t get Helios Cleaver, most 3- and 4-star weapons that offer ATK%, Critical Rate, or Critical Damage as their secondary stat will do.

Best Echoes for Calcharo

Wuthering Waves Best Echoes for Calcharo

  • Best Echo set: the full Void Thunder set. Increases Electro Damage by 10%. Also increases Electro Damage by 15% after releasing a Heavy Attack or Resonance Skill. Stacks up to two times and lasts fifteen seconds.
  • Best Echo ability: Thundering Mephis. Transform into Thundering Mephis, engaging in a rapid assault of up to 6 strikes. After the final hit, increase the current character's Electro Damage by 12.00% and Resonance Liberation Damage by 12.00% for 15 seconds. Cooldown is 20 seconds.
  • Echo stats: Critical Rate, Critical Damage, Energy Regeneration, Electro Damage, Attack.

The best Echo set for your Calcharo build is a no-brainer, as the full Void Thunder set’s Electro damage improves all of his attacks. Calcharo can easily trigger the full set bonus as he continuously triggers Heavy Attacks and Resonance Skills. If you follow the recommended Calcharo attack order by triggering Resonance Liberation directly after the Resonance Skills, you will benefit from the extra Electro Damage during the Deathblade Gear state.

As for the Echo ability, Thundering Mephis and Tempest Mephis are both amazing options since they not only deal pretty good Electro damage on their own, but also boost Calcharo’s Electro damage. Beware that Thundering Mephis increases Calcharo’s Resonance Liberation damage while Tempest Mephis increases his Heavy Attack damage - since Calcharo relies more on his Liberation damage, Thundering Mephis is the best choice.

Make sure you’re using a Critical Rate main stat on your Calcharo build, especially if you managed to get Verdant Summit as a weapon. If you already have a high Critical Rate, go for Critical Damage instead. The remaining Echo stats to look out for are Energy Regeneration, Electro Damage Bonus, and ATK%.

Best Calcharo teams

Wuthering Waves Best Calcharo teams

  • Best Calcharo team: Calcharo, Yinlin, and Verina.
  • Best Calcharo free-to-play team: Calcharo, Yangyang, Baizhi.

When building the best Calcharo team, keep in mind that Calcharo is a true main DPS; he needs enough field time to build Cruelty and cast Mercy, use Resonance Liberation, and stay for a full eleven seconds while the Deathblade Gear status is active. This means he doesn’t work well on dual DPS/sub-DPS teams. Instead, try to find allies who can boost Calcharo’s damage and (of course) heal him.

As the best 5-star and 4-star healers in the game, use Verina on a premium Calcharo team and Baizhi on a free-to-play Calcharo team. Yinlin is by far the best support since her Outro Skill increases Electro Damage and Resonance Liberation damage, both of which are perfect for Calcharo. On a free-to-play Calcharo team, Yangyang is a good alternative; her Outro Skill recovers Energy, allowing Calcharo to use his Resonance Liberation faster. Yangyang becomes particularly valuable if your Calcharo build lacks Energy Regeneration.
