How to extract from a successful mission 3 times in Helldivers 2
To extract from a successful mission, you need to complete primary objectives and leave safely
The personal order to extract from a successful mission 3 times in Helldivers 2 is an easy concept but there are definterly ways to tick it off faster if you weant to get on with your life.
It's contingent on continued high level play and success, and while it might sound like something you'll be doing anyway, in reality it's entirely possible to complete a mission without necessarily chalking up another successful extraction. That section of the mission technically optional - or at least, a part of the mission that results in greater rewards than just beating the primary obectives. If you've got the personal order in Helldivers 2 that's asks you to extract from a successful mission 3 times, or just want some clarity on how the process works, we'll outline it in our guide below.
How to extract from a successful mission 3 times
The easiest and quickest way to extract from a successful mission 3 times is to attempt missions on the lowest difficulty possible, in a squad. Better yet pick the Eradicate Terminid Swarm options. This gives you one objective - kill termininds to to thing their numbers - and basically plonks you down in a bucket of Terminid. There's no running around after multiple objectives, nowhere to travel to, you just hunker down and keep killing until you hit the number. They only last 15 minutes max, although with a good team you should be able to hit your quota way faster and extract in a single diget number of minutes.
These "Trivial" missions are short and simple, completed in minutes, and incredibly easy, so there's no risk of failure. Okay, it's might not be an actual challenge but I'm assuming you're here to get things done quick, not hard.
Extraction in Helldivers 2 explained
Extraction in Helldivers 2 itself is the final sequence of a mission where you have to call in a rescue shuttle and stay alive until it arrives. Here's how it works:
- After you complete the main objective in a mission, you can extract. When this happens, a marker will appear on the map - a hexagonal orange shape with an arrow pointing upwards (it will have been there previously, but faded grey until now). At the same time, a blue laser shine out from the extraction terminal, giving you a visual indication for where to go.
- When you reach the extraction site use the terminal in the center of the landing pad to enter the code and begin extraction.
- You'll now have to defend the area from enemies for two minutes. Occasionally it might take more or less time, depending on mission modifiers.
- All players have to remain close to the terminal, or the extraction is cancelled.
- Once the timer has elapsed, the Pelican Dropship will land (try not to get crushed by it), and players can pile in to extract. Just be aware that once the first player enters, the rest of you have 20 seconds to get in or be left behind.
For the best chance of surviving (especially on harder difficulties), you'll want carefully-placed Sentry turrets around the entrances and Stratagems good for thinning crowds - just be wary of collateral damage as you'll likely be calling things in right on top of you. As long as you can coordinate as a group, spot incoming enemies and take them down before they can get too close and scatter you, you then you should be good. If things get desperate running around to just staying alive, or hiding can also be a good strategy - all you have to do is wait out the clock.
